What We Do

Transition Bags

Just One provides Transition Bags filled with essential items to children entering foster care. There are age specific bags for children ranging from premature babies up to fully grown teenagers. On average, Just one provides 3-4 new bags to children entering foster care on a weekly basis. These bags cost $35-$40 each and to date (March 2024) Just One has provided 408 bags which equal $16,320.

Meals Program

The Just One Meal Team provides meals to foster, adoptive, and kinship families in the local area. The team members are paired up with one family and can either cook or provide gift cards from once monthly up to four times monthly. This is a significant help to families dealing with family visitations, medical care, special needs and therapy appts for foster and kinship care. We are always in need of more volunteers!
