Not all of us can do great things, but we can do small things with great love.
– Mother Teresa

In 2019 our founder, Kim Reed, was working in the Emergency Room as a nurse in Brunswick County. She saw the dire need for more foster parents and lack of support for grandparents and relatives raising children under kinship care. She decided to meet with Child Protective Services to see how her church could help.
That Christmas, thank you cards were written by members to all of the foster parents in the county. In the next year, $3,000 in Wal-Mart gift cards were donated to Child Protective Services. One hundred brand new cinch sack bags full of new clothing and personal care items were given in every size from newborn to adult size teens for caseworkers to give when they had to remove a child from the home. An organization was born!
Since 2019 we have given over one thousand bags to Social Services and have branched into community care, meal ministry, counsel, parent’s night out, and birthday gifts, all to show support for families standing in the gap for the child in crisis. We are making a difference in Brunswick County, NC and with your help are just getting started!
