Kim is a very proud military wife, married to the love of her life for 28 years. She is a mother of five incredible human beings, and a registered nurse. Kim is passionate about connection with community and motivating others to serve the vulnerable as the hands and feet of Christ. Joni Eareckson Tada has been her hero and inspiration since age 11.
Reca Davis – Transition Bag Coordinator
Reca and her husband Lynn are native North Carolinians. Reca is an avid gardener. Her flourishing five-year-old Venus flytrap, Vennie is her pride and joy! She is invaluable in her service to this mission and loves volunteering by serving alongside her husband, Lynn, helping others locally and around the world.

Dave is a husband and father with a passion for being the hands and feet of Christ. Dave served in the military as a naval aviator and following retirement worked in computer games software development. Dave’s organizational skills and desire to reach our community as quickly and efficiently as possible is a pure joy to witness!
Dave Duty – Meal Coordinator SOUPerBOWL Sunday Coordinator
Dave is a retired valuation specialist and former floral designer, married to Donna and father of two adult children with a passion for cooking and serving marginalized people. Dave is a real go getter when it comes to getting meals to folks who are blessed by them! He’s also a BIG fan of NCSU!


Kim McRoy-Gratitude Coordinator
Kim is a retired nurse of 37 years. Kim enjoys reading, movies, socializing with friends and hanging out with her 12 1/2 year old yorkie, Bodie who “still acts like a puppy.” Kim’s penmanship is a work of art!
Terry Boyle – Birthday Blessings Coordinator
Terry retired from the state working with vulnerable communities in Ohio to the beach! She has a grown daughter and a dog Zoey who “walks her daily!” She feels compelled after retirement to continue voluntarily serving those who need it most. Terry’s heart to serve is contagious to those around her.


Donna Duty – Professional NCCA Certified Counselor and Prayer Coordinator
Donna grew up in foster care and the Baptist Home Orphanage. She is certified as a Pastoral and Temperament counselor and is licensed through National Christian Counselors Association. Donna specializes in counseling women desiring to recover from the effects of abandonment, abuse, shame and guilt who have grown up in an alcoholic and/or dysfunctional environment. Donna desires to serve foster moms through prayer and support as well as professional counsel to any woman in need.


Nancy Griffin, Beth Duncan, and Lynn Davis -Transition Bag Team
Nancy is a retired teacher after 37 years. She is a widow of nine years and can be found on the golf course three times a week!
Beth is a retired teacher/administrator, mother of 1 awesome son, and married to her best friend. Beth loves helping the vulnerable and making a difference in the world around her.
Lynn is a native North Carolinian. He and his wife, Reca, are now retired and enjoy volunteering together with the passions of their hearts by serving others locally and around the world.
Krista Norris – Social Media & Outreach Coordinator
Krista is a wife, marketing professional, and family enthusiast who has a deep-rooted passion to help people, especially children. Krista is unbelievably gifted in marketing and design and we are forever grateful for her talents and her humble heart.
